  This is the email I sent Sunset Tree Service. To date, I have received NO RESPONSE!! I am not one who posts reviews, positive or negative, but this situation really upset my wife, which, in turn, upset me. I rated 2 stars because the work looks great.

  I have to tell you how unhappy I am right now. The work you did looks great, which is not the purpose of this email.
  
  What I am unhappy about is the way in which you went about "collecting" the payment. Never in my life have I had someone ring my doorbell and demand payment like you did! My wife called me at work and was very upset! You don't know me and I don't know you, but I have never missed a payment in my life. We shook hands in my driveway on $1300, and in my eyes, that's a deal. You upheld your end of the bargain by completing the work in the time you said. I get the bill and find out there is an extra charge for using my credit card. First of all, this was never discussed and had it been discussed I would have made it clear then that I am not going to pay a fee for using credit cards. Just so you know it is in violation of your credit card agreement to pass on fees to your customers and if they knew, then they would probably cancel your ability to accept credit cards.
  
  There are many tree services around, but you came highly recommended from a coworker of mine. I trusted him and trusted you. I didn't shop around and I felt very good about our interaction that day in my driveway. Unfortunately at this point I will not be able to pass on that same recommendation. There are also many review sites out there that I could have used to vent my frustration, but I feel like it is more ethical to voice my displeasure directly to you in the hopes that this particular business practice about showing up unannounced at someone's door demanding payment can be changed, and perhaps you can inform your customers about how and when to pay the bill.
